But few realms tormented my tactical intellect like the vibrant forests of Alfheim. Concealed amongst the emerald glades and misty lakes rest 7 arcane chests – more than any other realm.
Having emerged victorious from their magical trials, I‘m here to guide your quest to capture Alfheim‘s elusive treasures in full detail. Our journey spans torch-lit caverns, sand-strewn ruins, and realms lost beyond time itself. Challenges demand mastery of axe, blade and bow alike. Strond‘s Secret Weapons
Centered amongst Alfheim‘s lush heartlands lies Strond, forested zone of our first two Nornir conquests. They set the tone for the elemental and tactical mastery needed onward.
Both ornately carved chests rest half-concealed below stone ridges. But while one holds a simple torch puzzle, spearing the second cache demands a weapon found much deeper into God of War Ragnarok…
Blazing Braziers
Three unlit braziers enshroud the first unassuming Nornir chest, each emblazoned with mystical runes.
Having navigated similar flaming trials before, I ignite the torches in quick succession:

Brazier 1: Spot this obvious torch directly facing the chest. My Blades of Chaos awaken its blaze.

Brazier 2: Pivoting around from the chest reveals another brazier tucked into the south cliff face. I immolate it similarly.

Brazier 3: Using the giant moss- strewn stairs, I ascend towards the temple beyond, spying my final flaming mark positioned down a vine-draped precipice left of the climb. With all three braziers lit by my Blades, the Nornir chest rapidly unlocks!
Inside glitters an ornate Horn of Blood Mead – handy for tougher enemies ahead! Our next puzzle clearly won‘t surrender its secrets so easily though…
Piercing The Trio
Having crushed scores of shadowy enemies with my newly acquired Draupnir Spear, three stone statues encircling the second chest give me pause. Each bears a glowing Nordic rune upon their head.
As I approach, the chest emits a deathly chill – clearly I must impale all three icons to unlock its protections.

Carefully navigating the root-strewn gradient before the chest, I launch a precision throw to skewer the first northeastern idol bearing the ‘N‘ rune.

Whirling left, I spy a secondary statue across the yawning ravine fronting the central stairs. Another spear throw embeds its ‘R‘ carving.

Finally, perched down a wooded slope directly behind where I entered lies the last statue marked ‘C‘. My Draupnir pierces its skull too!
Spear tips protruding from all three figures, I focus my energies – telepathically detonating each statue simultaneously! Their stony remnants crash to earth amidst blinding light as the Nornir chest seal fractures before me! My efforts are soon rewarded with 2 Epic Enchantments – perfect for upgrading my favored armaments!
Now armed with Alfheim‘s first rewards, our journey continues west towards the beckoning Temple of Light…
