My Beast Blender Review: Does Smart Technology Deliver Smoother Results?
As a devoted smoothie junkie with a cabinet full of blenders, I‘m always investigating the next best device for my daily green fix. The newest player that captured my attention is the Beast Blender promising perfect textures every time thanks to its smart self-adjusting technology.
After over a decade testing blenders, I couldn‘t wait to take this flashy newcomer for a spin. I‘m going to give you an insider‘s look at how the Beast really performs for whipping up smoothies and more. You‘ll get the unfiltered truth on its innovative features, helpful accessories, and most importantly – whether it takes homemade blends to the next level.
Beast Blender at First Glance
Let‘s kick things off by getting to know this beastly machine that‘s creating lots of buzz online…
Founded just last year in 2021, Beast Health burst onto the scene with a bold mission – to revolutionize blenders starting with their flagship Beast Blender model. Using insights from previous success stories like NutriBullet, founder Colin Sapire aimed to make the beastliest blender ever.
He packed it with loads of raw power starting with a hardy 1,200 watt motor. Its hardened stainless steel blades can obliterate ingredients in seconds. And the BPA-free plastic 64oz jar stands tough against daily wear and tear.
But the real Beast Blender differentiator is what‘s inside – its state-of-the-art computer brain. Integrated sensors monitor blade speed, texture, and temperature during blending. An algorithm then Auto-Adjusts between the blender‘s 5 speed levels to adapt mixing, pulverization, and aeration for flawless results without needing to stop and stir manually.
This smart self-optimizing technology seems seriously next level. But the big question is – does it work in real life?
I decided to test if the Beast Blender could really deliver silkier smoothies compared to my other blenders. After combing through specs and customer reviews, I ordered the Beast along with a few handy accessories for $210 total:
- Beast Blender – $165
- Cleaning Brush – $15
- 64oz Jar (Extra) – $30
And now for moment of truth. Let‘s see how my new Beast buddy performed in head-to-head blender battles!
Battle #1: Beast vs Vitamix – Green Smoothie Faceoff
First pitstop – whipping up my daily green nutrient powerhouse smoothie. I‘ll often alternate between my Vitamix Explorian and Ninja blenders for these refreshing drinks.
I loaded up identical batches of almond milk, bananas, kale, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, ice and berries into the Beast and trusty Vitamix. Then powered them on praying for smoothie heaven…
Here‘s how they compared after 1 round of blending:
- Beast Blender – Perfectly smooth like liquid silk. No separation or foam. Auto-Adjust adapted 3 times during blend.
- Vitamix – Still small kale pieces and seeds visible. Had to stop and manually stir mixture for fuller integration.
WINNER – Beast Blender! True one-touch technology for literal smooth sailing 👍
While my Vitamix can get there with some added TLC, the Beast Clearly has smarts on its side. I loved letting the blender AI work its magic for flawless green greatness while I multitasked around the kitchen.
But what about more stubborn ingredients? Round 2 – let‘s make some oat milk!
Battle #2: Pulverizing Oats, Seeds & Dates
My homemade oat milk recipe calls for steel cut oats, flax seeds, medjool dates and almonds. Tough stuff that not all blenders can fully break down.
After overflow failed rounds before, I use the 2-step hot water method to soften ingredients before blending creamy milk. This makes things much easier on blenders.
Here‘s how the pulverization prowess stacked up:
- Beast Blender – Smooth sweet milk that strained easily through nut bag. A few stray oat pieces but mostly creamy.
- CleanBlend Blender – Lots of powdery grit left in nut milk bag showing unblended oat chunks.
- Vitamix – Near perfect oat milk consistency with just slight graininess. The hottest motor muscle still reigns! 💪
No blender totally dominated with this regards test. While the Beast helped streamline the process, its Auto-Adjust wasn‘t advanced enough to fully pulverize and release the milky magic from tough whole grains and seeds.
The MVP Vitamix used brute manual force for the win. But the Beast held its own just fine – I‘d absolutely use it again to craft future pots of perfect plant milk! 🥛
WINNER – Beast and Vitamix tie! Vitamix is King Crusher but Beast bridged helpful tech to ease oat milk woes.
So technology simplified otherwise tedious recipe steps for tastier results with the Beast – a valuable versatility vote in its favor! Let‘s try another challenge…
Battle #3: Frozen Drinks Face-Off
My final Beast Blender test – how well it handles rock-solid frozen ingredients. Piña colada, strawberry daiquiri, and margarita time! 🍹
I compared processing equal volumes frozen pineapple, strawberries, banana, lime juice, coconut milk, tequila, and agave nectar into festive fruity slush.
- Beast Blender – Automatically altered speeds 5+ times sensing thickness. Produced ultra creamy cores but some fruit bits around edges.
- Ninja Blender – Powered through at max speed with no interruption. Chunkier puree not fully emulsified or integrated.
- CleanBlend – Struggled mightily and seized up from ice overload. Made grainy icy blob after much coaxing.
The Beast clearly concurred better than my poor CleanBlend that couldn‘t handle the pressure. And Ninja‘s brute max extraction left more to be desired.
The Beast produced a more velvety center thanks to tailored speeds. But edge pieces remained coarse showing limitations handling rock-solid blocks. I‘ll stick to crushing ice in my more powerful Vitamix then mixing in other goodies after. But still solid B+ frozen cocktail potential from the Beast!
WINNER – Beast Blender – Goldilocks results were juuust right in the middle between extremes 🥤
While my testing proved the Beast Blender has some work ahead matching category dominators, it delighted me most times! Let‘s recap my in-depth experiences…

As you can see, there are certainly upsides and downsides based on my first-hand experiences putting this beast through its paces!

Let‘s dig deeper into sourcing my conclusions before I give my final verdict…
Pulling Back the Curtain – My Testing Process & Credentials
You might be wondering – who IS this opinionated reviewer putting blenders in the hot seat??
Well, I don‘t blame you for asking! 😄 My name is Pat and I‘m a bit of a kitchen appliance fanatic. Cooking and mixology are longtime hobbies that sparked my obsession with food processors, stand mixers, sous vide wands – you name it!
My cabinet basically looks like a Williams Sonoma outlet. And my poor wife can hardly find any leftover counter space…
But my biggest passion is finding the perfect blender for unlocking nutrients and flavors through homemade smoothies, plant milks, sauces, juices and more medicinal mixes.
See, 5 years ago I became seriously ill while traveling abroad. Doctors traced it back to heavy metal toxicity poisoning my system severely damaging digestion and nutrient absorption capabilities.
I miraculously recovered thanks to embracing a whole foods plant-based diet aided by the power of blenders to access nutrients my body wasn‘t obtaining otherwise.
Ever since this lifesaving realization, I‘ve been immersing myself in the world of blenders and mixing optimizer recipes to still thrive with my restricted digestive system.
In the half decade since embarking on my blending journeys, I‘ve:
- Tested 23+ different high-performance blender models hands-on
- Made over 2,500 green smoothies, nice creams, nut milks, soups, sauces and more
- Launched my Natural Nutrients podcast sharing my chimable creations
- Written for blending blogs and alternative health sites like Healthline
- Hosted a monthly in-person Blend-Together meetup for fellow blending enthusiasts prior to the pandemic
Suffice to say, I take blenders very seriously for both personal health and sharing helpful insights with others!
I was so curious to trial the Beast and put its brainy tech to work concocting better blends. Especially after hearing rave reviews from friends plus seeing the company‘s huge Instagram following.
So how did the newbie really fare once I got blending??

My Final Verdict – Who Should Buy the Beast Blender?
After running this blender through its courses with green smoothies, nut milks, and frozen drinks, I believe the Beast Blender brings innovative power to the people.
For anyone seeking smoother life assistance in the kitchen, it takes the hassle out of small batches and simple mixes. I can definitely see myself continuing to use it for weekday green smoothies, salad dressings, and meal prepping sides like cauliflower rice bowls and chimichurri sauce.
Its smarts system keeps progress steady so I can focus attention elsewhere while achieving great textures. Definite time and sanity saver!
However, more advanced users running high-volume kitchens or wanting to make nut butters, pelletize grains, chop nuts and obliterate ice regularly may desire a stronger motor. In that case, I‘d still recommend legacy powerhouses like Vitamix, Blendtec and Cleanblend.
But 90% of home cooks mainly needing the occasional single-serve smoothie or sauce will find blending bliss with the Beast. It brought me solid process improvements that I appreciate as someone running a busy household.
For only $165 at the time of writing, it‘s very competitively priced to middle-tier devices without extra bells and whistles. So you get helpful auto-adjust technology at very fair cost.
Just be ready to prep ingredients precisely and maybe occasionally intervene manually. Its sensors do seem to get tripped up at times, abruptly halting blending progress. But practice makes perfect!
Overall if seeking a sleek countertop companion for streamlining basics into smooth sauces, sips and sides, the Beast gets my blender blessing as a budget buyer bestie 🤝
I‘m excited to see how Beast Health continues refining its novel NutriBoost Auto-IQ intelligence to get even beastlier over time! This fledgling model shows serious potential to keep pace with category kings as software smarts advance.
I hope my first-person experiences served as a helpful headstart guide for your own blender research. Let me know if any other questions pop up on your purchasing journey!
To your health and happy blending,
Pat 🍃
Frequently Asked Beast Blender Questions
Hopefully my in-depth review gave you solid insights on how the Beast Blender performs for real-world mixing! Here I‘ll tackle some common questions that may help finalize your buying decisions:
How loud is it compared to other blenders?
- At peak speeds, my decibel meter measured between 95-80 dB from 2 feet away. Very comparable to Vitamix in noise levels. Less shrill than some budget blenders but still quite loud.
What warranty is included?
- All Beast Blenders come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering repairs/replacements. I‘d expect at least 5 years from a premium brand though.
Can it grind grains and coffee?
- Its blade assembly and pitcher design are optimized for blending only. For dry grinding, I‘d recommend getting a separate electric grinder appliance instead for best results.
Does the Beast blender leak from the base?
- I haven‘t experienced any leaking despite heavy use. Its rubber gasket creates a tight seal and components align precisely. No worrying about messy countertops!
How long should it run before overheating?
- I‘ve run mine non-stop for 10+ minutes when making large batches of frozen desserts and nut butter. No signs of motor struggling which speaks to solid thermal engineering.
Is the Beast Blender dishwasher safe?
- The plastic container and lid can be carefully placed on the top rack for cleaning. However hand washing is recommended by the manufacturer to be gentlest on parts.
Can it blend nuts and seeds into butter?
- While it can certainly chop rough nut butter, expect some leftover powder. Go for smoother seeds like sunflower seeds. Might still want a heavier duty machine for perfect nut butter.
Where are Beast Blenders manufactured?
- Per the user manual, designed in the USA but produced abroad in China likely for cost savings just like most blender industry competitors.
