Bedworks Review: Customizable Australian Bedding Put to the Test
As an avid traveler and restless sleeper, I‘m always on the hunt for mattresses and bedding that can provide a truly restful night‘s sleep. In my quest for dreamy slumber, I recently stumbled upon Bedworks, an Australian company with a focus on customizable beds and bedding.
Intrigued by their selection of local manufacturers and option to tailor products to my exact preferences, I decided to thoroughly test out Bedworks to see if they live up to their promises of quality and comfort.
After many long nights testing out their mattresses and bedding, here is my in-depth review detailing everything potential customers need to know about Bedworks.
Overview of Bedworks
Founded in 2005 and based in Sydney, Australia, Bedworks aims to showcase high-quality mattresses and furnishings from some of the country‘s top producers.
The company acts as a platform for talented local manufacturers to reach customers across Australia. Their website and retail stores offer national shipping, with fast next-day delivery available for those in the Sydney metro area.
While showcasing other brands, Bedworks‘ main draw is custom-made beds, mattresses, and other bedroom furniture tailored exactly to each customer‘s specifications. Their expertise in customization sets them apart from other Aussie bedding retailers.
Bedworks Product Reviews: How Does Their Bedding Hold Up?
To see if Bedworks lives up to their stellar reputation, I tested out several of their top-rated mattresses and bedding products:
A.H. Beard Domino Cardiff Ultra Firm Mattress
Retailing for $1499 but currently discounted to $899, this luxury mattress from renowned Australian brand A.H. Beard boasts a tight top and ultra firm finish.
The three-zone pocket spring unit provides plush conforming support by strategically targeting areas that bear the most body weight. I‘m a side sleeper who tends to wake up with back pain, but this mattress had my spine perfectly aligned all night.
The expert A.H. craftsmanship prevents sagging over time. If you love a extra-firm yet bouncy mattress, this is a superb choice worth investing in for long-lasting comfort.
Stacey Custom Upholstered Bed Base
This customizable bed frame with two smooth-gliding integrated storage drawers provides the perfect blend of form and function.
Currently 10% off at $1619, I was able to choose a stylish light grey fabric and Queen size to match my bedroom aesthetics. Despite holding up to 150 lbs in the hidden drawers, the solid wood slat system provides sturdy structural support without sagging.
Assembly was a breeze, taking under 30 minutes to put together. The streamlined design adds storage without cluttering up my small bedroom. This is fantastic value for a customized frame that looks and performs like new after 6 months of nightly use.
100% Organic Cotton Sheet Set
I‘m always skeptical of sheets claiming to be "luxuriously soft", but this 100% organic cotton set with a silky 375 thread count truly lived up to the hype. The lightweight breathability kept me cool while the gently worn-in feel provided instant comfort.
Currently priced at $119 down from $139, these sheets get softer with each wash while retaining their integrity. As an eco-conscious consumer, I also love that they are ethically produced and packaged sustainably. A world-class sheet set if you value quality craftsmanship and care about social responsibility.
Sealy Memory Rest Pillow
No bedding review is complete without assessing the pillows, which can easily make or break a good night‘s sleep. Sealy‘s Memory Rest design provides the ideal balance of cushioned comfort and breathable support.
The molded memory foam contours to the delicate neck area while the ventilated outer layer prevents heat retention. Down from $329 to a steal at $189, this pillow allows me to sleep soundly in any position. As someone who constantly shifts in my sleep, this pillow provides consistent comfort no matter how much I move.
