“To be honest, I felt really disconnected from the success narrative I saw portrayed for young women in media – work hard, climb the corporate ladder, freeze your eggs – it all seemed so scripted. I craved forging my own path. After some soul-searching, I realized I wanted to pursue my lifelong passion for wine and spirits. But in a way that empowered women like myself. Bev was born from that dream.”
On Pushing Past Doubters:
“Oh, there were definitely people who didn‘t take me seriously in those early days. Male executives who questioned if I had the grit to succeed in alcohol. But their doubt only fueled my fire even more. I knew that to create real cultural impact, I had to produce more than just a novelty ‘female wine‘ – I had to craft a superior product that could disrupt the status quo.”
