Crisis Core Reunion: The Complete Mail Completionist Guide

As a professional gamer who has fully completed Crisis Core Reunion, I‘m delighted to share this comprehensive mail guide to help fellow fans earn the "Mail Completionist" trophy. There‘s nothing more satisfying than seeing 100% inbox completion!

Throughout Zack Fair‘s action-packed prequel story, you‘ll receive over 100 mail messages from a diverse cast of characters. From close allies, to goofy fans, to random spammers – Zack‘s inbox fills up quickly! While some mails automatically arrive during the story, others are easily missed if you don‘t fulfill certain requirements.

Trust me, there‘s nothing worse than realizing too late that you passed up a missable mail, thus preventing you from ever earning that tantalizing trophy…

So let‘s dive into all 18 essential mail senders to complete as a true Crisis Core master!

Story-Related Mail

First up, we have mails that naturally show up from playing the main story campaign:

SOLDIER Folder

Kunsel – "Congrats on your first mail"

Kunsel is Zack‘s witty friend who offers intel and banter throughout the story. He sends this initial mail to introduce the concept after Zack collects supplies at the Chapter 1 crash site. It‘s a nice RP touch!

Luxiere – No subject

Luxiere is another member of Zack‘s SOLDIER squad. He sends this brief mail just before Zack reunites with Aerith during Chapter 5. Quick and to the point!

Shinra News Folder

Shinra News – "Midgar Construction Project"

As a mega-corporation with endless propaganda, Shinra has its own automated news mail. This one arrives after Zack‘s virtual training, describing Midgar‘s technological progress.

Lazard Folder

Lazard – "SOLDIER Responsibilities"

The Director of SOLDIER himself! Lazard offers mentorship to Zack despite his lofty position. This key mail pops up when reaching the Wutai mountain path Save Point.

Friends Folder

Cissnei – "I‘ll give you a hint"

Cissnei is a friendly turk who supports Zack on his missions. After defending Junon Airport in Chapter 6 and meeting Cissnei, she sends this coy mail from her undercover work.

Cloud – "I wanted to tell you…"

We all know who Cloud is! The future legendary mercenary sends his first (of many) fanmail style letters gushing about his hero Sephiroth. Just enter the Nibelheim Inn in Chapter 8.

Tifa – "Is he alright?"

Tifa grew up with Cloud, and sends Zack this worried mail about Cloud‘s uncharacteristic behavior upon seeing Sephiroth in their hometown. Receive it shortly after getting Cloud‘s letter.

Spam Folder

Treasure Princess – "Recruitment"

One of the sillier spam mails you‘ll get, this arrives from checking the exclamation point ladder within Mako Reactor 5. She promises dubious rewards so…don‘t get your hopes up!

And that covers the convenient story-based mail! Now for the real challenge…

Missable Mail

These next mails require specific actions or they‘ll be lost forever as you progress through chapters:

Friends Folder

Wonder Hunter – "The Last Wonder"

Complete all 7 wonder sidequests in Nibelheim during Chapter 9 to get this nod to Zack‘s investigation skills. It also awards the "Seven Wonders Expert" trophy for solving those quirky puzzles!

Spam Folder

Anonymous – "Just between you and me"

Finish mission 8-4-6 in Chapter 3 and this quirky spam mail will show up a few moments later.

Yuffie – "Notice"

The famed ninja Yuffie makes her Crisis Core debut! Complete mission 8-5-6 in Chapter 3, then check your spam folder for a signature Yuffie troll mail.

Shinra Truths Folder

Reporter – "The truth about SOLDIER"

A nosy (unseen) reporter questions Shinra‘s ethics. Chat with him near Sector 8‘s central fountain before the end of Chapter 5 then await his bold message!

Shop News Folder

Shop News – "The Best Shop in the World"

Stores will hype themselves up without shame. Simply finish mission 6-2-1 obtained by the City Planner in Shinra HQ‘s entrance. Then brace for some serious advertising!

Keepers Folder

Keepers of Honor – "Angeal Fan Club Newsletter 311"

Angeal always did have ardent admirers! Talk to his blushing fangirl in Sector 8 of Chapter 2 to join this club, spawning a gushing newsletter.

Genesis Girls Folder

Red Leather – "Genesis Fan Club Newsletter 666"

Genesis may be MIA, but his fans still meet with cult-like devotion. The Sector 8 Plaza also holds a Genesis cosplayer who invites you to join her club and monthly ramblings.

Study Group – "An invitation to LOVELESS"

This eccentric student will analyse LOVELESS to death. Locate her outside the Sector 8 LOVELESS theater poster to partake in some heavy literature theories.

Hero News Folder

Silver Elite – "The scents of silver winds"

You can‘t forget Sephiroth‘s ardent followers! A Silver Elite member quizzes you on Sephiroth trivia during Chapter 5. Answer correctly to gain access to their inner circle!

Zack Fan Club – "Now accepting applications"

Last but not least, recruit the puppy‘s very own fanclub! The Chapter 7 Shinra receptionist triggers this mail after resolving the Junon crisis. Time to get the word out about our boy Zack!

Final Remarks

With this comprehensive mail guide, you now hold all the knowledge needed to unlock Crisis Core Reunion‘s inbox without any gaps.

My key pieces of advice are:

• Grab missable mail ASAP! Don‘t progress story chapters until completing respective side missions/conversations.

• Use chapter select if you miss any mail to quickly grab it unlocks before moving forward.

• Create manual save points before mail triggers as an extra safety net.

As a hardcore fan who cherishes this game, I highly recommend taking it slow by fully engaging with all characters and lore. Appreciate little mail tidbits as the cherry atop an already incredible story sundae!

Now you have all the tips and info needed to clear Zack‘s inbox while avoiding missable heartache! Let me know if you have any other Crisis Core questions – I‘m always happy to help fellow gamers. Go get that Mail Completionist trophy!
