Does it matter what region the PS5 is? An in-depth technical guide

Can I use a PS5 bought anywhere in the world?

Since the PS5 is region-free, you can use a console from any country on any television worldwide. For example, a PS5 from Japan will work flawlessly on a USA TV, and vice versa. There are no compatibility issues or barriers importing between PAL, NTSC and SECAM networks.
