The Ultimate Funko Pop Review: My Experience Collecting These Adorable Figures

What I love is how the mold perfectly translated Batman‘s muscular physique into the more cartoonish Pop design. The bat symbol on his chest really pops thanks to careful paint application.

Harley Quinn Funko Pop Review
Next I had to grab her main man‘s notorious sweetheart, Harley Quinn! Funko perfectly mimics Harley‘s mischievous personality in this figure‘s design.
Sporting her classic red and black jester outfit, no detail went overlooked. The wood texture on Harley‘s oversized mallet looks incredible, plus she has actual buckle detailing on her boots. Everything from her cute facial expression to two-toned ponytails stayed true to the animated series.

When I first discovered Funko designed Pop figures from the Star Wars universe, I nearly lost my mind. Of course a selection of these had to join my collection!
The Mandalorian and The Child Funko Pop
This 2-pack brings together the hit series‘ main duo: the Mandalorian and “Baby Yoda” (aka The Child). Considering how wildly popular this Star Wars pair has become, I had to snatch up their matching Pops!
Funko perfectly mimicked The Mandalorian‘s distinctive armor in the figure design. The shiny helmet, shoulder pads, and all the little control panel details translate beautifully. And that tiny Baby Yoda sitting in his floating pod? Utterly precious! Those big eyes and pointy ears kill me.
For $25, this dynamic due makes an amazing display piece that always gets a grin. The craftsmanship clearly carries love for the characters and show for any Star Wars junkie like me.

Yoda Funko Pop Review
Of course I couldn‘t talk Star Wars Funko Pops without mentioning the iconic Jedi master himself. This standard Yoda figure perfectly mimics his sage appearance.
Funko captured all the wrinkles and textures in Yoda‘s green skin along with his slightly tufted pointy ears. His robes wrap and flow beautifully. I especially love the wispy gray hair detail! And you can‘t miss the classic walking stick accessory he always carries.
At just $11, this Pop gives outstanding bang for your buck thanks to pristine paint detailing. I almost feel like the Force flows through this vinyl reincarnation of Yoda!

What collection would be complete without including a bit of magic? As a major Harry Potter geek, I already know Funko didn‘t disappoint bringing scenes from the Wizarding World to life in these figures.
Harry Potter with Sword of Gryffindor
This Pop captures an iconic moment from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets when Harry slays the basilisk! The figure looks amazing decked out in full Hogwarts robes, his familiar glasses, and brandishing that ruby-encrusted silver sword.
I adore how even tiny details like Harry’s messy hair and the blemishes on his face translated. The robes gleam thanks to polished paint mixing Gryffindor scarlet and gold. That sword looks ready to stake some Slytherins!
For just $15, I think this Harry Potter Funko Pop provides beautiful workmanship andjacking vibrant colors befitting such a climactic scene. It feels like a real slice of Hogwarts!

Dobby Funko Pop Review
While heroes look great, I couldn‘t leave out getting a Funko Pop of one of Harry‘s most devoted friends – Dobby the house elf! This little 4-inch figure captures Dobby‘s sweet earnestness perfectly.
Funko mirrored every last oversized feature that makes Dobby so recognizable, from his tennis ball eyes to bat-like ears. The textured tea towel with mismatched shoes looks just like his makeshift clothes. I even love how they included a little chin divot showing his underbite!
For $11, this Dobby Funko Pop provides outstanding design. Any Potterhead would love this cute rendition of the quirky house elf who stole our hearts!

Anime Funko Pops
Beyond American entertainment brands, Funko also releases amazing anime-inspired figures. Here‘s my review of two fantastic anime Funko Pop additions to my shelves!
Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)
As one of my all-time favorite anime protagonists, I needed a Funko Pop to immortalize Edward Elric! This figure looks like it leapt off the screen with Ed‘s flowing red coat, blond braid, metal arm and leg – all rendered intricately.
The proportions on Edward came out so well, truly capturing his muscular but short hero physique. I love the determined expression worthy of the passionate alchemist!
For $15, this Edward Elric embodies the character flawlessly in Funko Pop form. From the boots to braid, fantastic detailing makes this a must for any Fullmetal Alchemist fan!
This determined rendering earned a golden review as my favorite anime hero!
Todoroki (My Hero Academia)
Next I chose the Todoroki Funko Pop with GITD elements from My Hero Academia! They perfectly replicated Todoroki‘s scar over his mismatched red and white hair.
True to his ice and fire quirk, the left side of the figure actually glows in the dark! This looks so cool illuminating the icy blue highlights of his costume. Tiny details like the ridges on his arm bracers astound me.
For $15, I‘m blown away by the GITD color mixing and accurate detailing on this awesome Todoroki Pop. It really captures the aesthetics anime fans love about this complex fan-favorite character!

Funko clearly takes anime Funko Pop creation as seriously as films or other media. With precise detailing aligned beautifully to each series, fans have fantastic keepsakes to collect. I love having these awesome anime protagonists on display!
