Is the kilo Blox fruit good? Yes, with some caveats.

The kilo Blox fruit in Roblox Blox Fruits is a solid starter fruit, especially for new players. Its versatility and ease of use makes kilo a great pick for early-game grinding and transportation.

However, kilo falls off in the late game compared to rarer fruits with higher damage and better defenses. It also struggles in PvP matchups against meta fruits.

So in summary:

The Good

  • Inexpensive price at just 150k Beli
  • Useful mobility from weight shifting
  • Quality AoE attacks for room clearing
  • Easy to use for beginner players

The Bad

  • Mediocre damage output
  • Lacks defensive abilities
  • Easily countered by meta PvP fruits
  • Falls off in late game PvE

While I wouldn‘t say kilo is an top-tier fruit, it‘s certainly one of the better beginner options. If you‘re looking for an affordable fruit to start out and learn the game, kilo is a great choice!

What can the kilo fruit do?

Here‘s a quick rundown of the kilo Blox fruit‘s abilities:

  • Change user‘s weight between 1kg and 10,000kg
  • Increase speed and mobility when light
  • Increase damage and defense when heavy
  • Execute AoE slam attacks like Belly Flop
  • Leap high into air then slam down onto foes
  • With awakening, unlocks powerful Brick Fist pound

In terms of class, kilo is a paramecia type devil fruit. This means it grants the user an ability that can modify their body in some way, in this case weight manipulation.

But it lacks the powerful logia ability to turn into an element like fire, ice or light. This makes kilo more vulnerable than logia fruits since you can‘t just phase through attacks. Proper dodging is key!

How kilo compares to other starter fruits

Let‘s see how kilo stacks up stats-wise against other common rarity starter fruits:

Fruit DMG DEF MOB DPS AOE Price
Kilo 6/10 4/10 8/10 5/10 7/10 150k
Bomb 8/10 2/10 4/10 7/10 6/10 300k
Smoke 5/10 9/10 6/10 4/10 3/10 250k
Spin 4/10 2/10 5/10 4/10 6/10 450k

DMG: Damage output
DEF: Defense/survivability
MOB: Mobility
DPS: Sustained damage
AOE: Area of effect capabilities

As we can see, kilo has solid mobility and AoE thanks to its weight manipulation, while also being incredibly cheap. This makes it excellent for starter players to zip around and farm enemies.

However, it lacks strong defenses unlike smoke‘s logia properties and doesn‘t have the best raw DPS potential.

Overall though, I think these numbers show kilo as one of the better beginner fruits, only really outclassed by smoke‘s intangibility.

How to use kilo effectively in combat

Here are 5 tips to master the kilo fruit and use it effectively:

1. Shift your weight constantly

Continuously alternate between light and heavy forms mid-fight. Use light form to swiftly dodge attacks, then go heavy to land slamming strikes.

2. Lead with aerial attacks

Open fights by dropping down in heavy form for a Belly Flop ambush, then follow up with ground pounds.

3. Awaken ASAP

The awakening dramatically boosts kilo‘s power. Unlock it the moment you hit max level 800.

4. Complement with melee

Kilo lacks ranged beams, so equip a strong sword like Katana or Pole and melee skills to fill that gap.

5. Use mobility to escape

In PvP, use light form‘s speed and flight to safely disengage vs tougher fruits. Avoid drawn-out battles.

Mastering weight shifting and comboing your abilities is key to maximizing kilo‘s potential in battle. Play to your strengths and beware your weaknesses.

How viable is kilo for late game PvE?

I would assess kilo as a mid-tier fruit for late game PvE content like bosses and raids. Here‘s a breakdown of its viability:

Good for:

  • Decent AoE crowd control
  • Nice mobility / evasion
  • Affordable 1M beli awakening

Bad for:

  • Low DPS against bosses
  • Lacks ranged beam attacks
  • Minimal defensive abilities
  • Smaller AoE than top fruits

Kilo can work decently for casually clearing late game islands and mobs. But in intense boss fights, your lack of damage and survivability will become very apparent.

Serious PvE players will eventually want to acquire a fruit with more raw power like flame, quake or rumble.

But for more casual grinding, an awakened kilo remains a viable and affordable option even in late game. Just expect to struggle against higher-end content.

How to awaken kilo (and is it worth it?)

You can awaken the kilo fruit at max level 800 mastery for 1 million beli.

The awakening provides:

  • New 10,000 Brick Fist pound attack
  • Enhanced 100,000 Hammer slam range/damage
  • Overall stat increases

This remains one of the most affordable awakenings in the game. And the Brick Fist gives some much needed DPS.

But is awakening mandatory? I‘d say yes – it‘s a huge boost in power for little cost. The increased stats and AoE damage from Brick Fist make awakened kilo far stronger.

The only reason not to awaken would be if you‘re planning to replace kilo soon anyway as you progress further. Outside of that niche case, awakening is a smart investment.

What fruits should you eat after outgrowing kilo?

Once you‘ve surpassed kilo‘s capabilities, here are some fruits to target as your next upgrade:

  • Light – Faster flight, beam attacks, great mobility
  • Ice – Logia defense plus large AoE moves
  • Quake – Room clearing AoE, very fast DPS
  • Flame – Strong all-around performer and top PvP fruit
  • Rumble – Excellent AoE control and disruptive moves

I‘d recommend trying out flame first if you can get it. Its potent mix of damage, speed, and ranged attacks make it a top-tier all-around performer. Plus flame remains highly viable even late game for PvE and PvP.

Is there a limit to how heavy you can become?

Kilo has been shown allowing the user to weigh up to 10,000 kg in the anime. Unlike other body-modifying paramecias, there doesn‘t appear to be a strict limit to how heavy one can become.

Presumably through training, the user could continue increasing their weight capacity further. But of course greater weights would slow you down.

So in summary:

  • Demonstrated max weight is 10,000 kg
  • No confirmed hard limit if user trains the power
  • Greater weights possible but reduce mobility

What are the best and worst devil fruits?

Here are my personal top 3 best and worst devil fruits in One Piece / Blox Fruits:

Best:

  1. Gura Gura (tremors and destruction)
  2. Ope Ope (manipulate objects, "the ultimate devil fruit")
  3. Pika Pika (become light itself for speed and lasers)

Worst:

  1. Sui Sui (turn into water…weak to seastone)
  2. Bari Bari (become barriers, purely defensive)
  3. Mero Mero (just turn people into stone statues)

While "best" is subjective, most would agree the gura gura no mi‘s sheer destructive power makes it #1. Ope ope‘s broken room ability also puts it up there.

For worst, these fruits have niche but very limited uses in combat. Their powers may serve other utility purposes though!

Is there a devil fruit that makes you giant?

No current canon devil fruit has been shown to make the user a literal giant. However, these fruits offer size changing abilities:

  • Hira Hira (flap wings to fly and soften body)
  • Goro Goro (grow into an electric giant…but just for that attack)
  • Ton Ton (increase weight to become huge but very heavy)

The closest is Ton Ton, which doesn‘t make the user "giant" but can increase weight so much that they grow in size. But no fruit has permanently giantified someone (yet!).

So in summary, no canon fruit directly causes permanent giant transformation. But a couple allow situational size increases under certain conditions.

Who has the fastest devil fruit in One Piece?

The soku soku no mi fruit allows the user to reach extremely high speeds rivaling Kizaru’s light fruit.

My ranking for the top 5 fastest devil fruits in One Piece:

  1. Soku Soku (become nearly untraceable to the eye)
  2. Pika Pika (travel at light speed as a light beam)
  3. Nikyu Nikyu (teleport long distances by repelling self)
  4. Doa Doa (create doors to teleport rapidly)
  5. Soru Soru (enhance body for high speed movement)

While fruits like Doa Doa provide teleportation, the Soku Soku fundamentally makes the user‘s body untraceably fast. So for pure movement speed, it clinches the top spot.

But honorable mentions to Pika Pika‘s light form and Kizaru‘s insane mobility when traveling as photons!

Final verdict: Is kilo a good fruit for you?

The kilo Blox fruit is a great option if:

  • You‘re new to Blox Fruits and want an easy fruit to learn
  • Need mobility and evasion for early game questing
  • Want a cheap starter fruit with solid AoE potential
  • Plan to play casually / solo and not go hard into late game PvP and raids

You may want to choose another fruit if:

  • You need high DPS and defense to defeat tougher bosses
  • Want a great PvP fruit to dominate other players
  • Are a min-maxer aiming for top tier late game content
  • Don‘t enjoy the playstyle and want something with different abilities

While it falls off later on, the kilo Blox fruit remains one of the best options for getting started in Blox Fruits. Its balance of cost, mobility, and AoE attacks make kilo an ideal first fruit to level up with.

I‘d absolutely recommend new players give it a shot! You‘ll be zipping around islands crushing enemies in no time.
