The Opportunity

As a Lead Analyst based in Altisource‘s Bangalore office, you will manage a team of 5-7 analysts responsible for supporting Hubzu, Altisource‘s online real estate auction platform, as well as our Real Estate Lifecycle Solutions and Mortgage and Real Estate Solutions business units.

Partnering with business leaders, product managers, and operations teams, you will leverage analytics to optimize key processes, build data products and guide strategic decisions. Specific responsibilities include:

• Developing statistical models to forecast key metrics like revenue, customer acquisition and conversion rates
• Building dashboards and data visualizations to monitor business performance and surface actionable insights
• Conducting in-depth analyses to understand customer journeys, uncover pain points and identify enhancement opportunities
• Leveraging machine learning to predict customer behavior, segment audiences and personalize offerings
• Optimizing pricing and bidding strategies to improve win rates and profitability
• Designing and analyzing A/B tests to measure the impact of new product features and initiatives
• Managing end-to-end model development and deployment, from data preparation to model training to production integration
• Mentoring and developing junior team members, providing technical guidance and career coaching
• Engaging with senior stakeholders to evangelize the power of analytics and promote a data-driven culture

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in analytics or data science roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
• Deep expertise in statistics, machine learning, and predictive modeling
• Strong programming skills in languages like Python, R, and SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in an agile environment
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
• A track record of leveraging analytics to drive measurable business impact
• Strategic mindset and business acumen, with a keen eye for opportunities to leverage data to drive growth and innovation
• MBA or Master‘s degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or other quantitative field preferred
