Eureka! Over the next few nights, Merle starts tinkering away in his barbershop, cutting up various decks of cards. He comes up with wild and crazy prototypes, testing them out on his delighted family members. Lots of trial and error later, he nails the perfect deck – colorful cards numbered 1-9, action cards like Skip and Draw Two, and Wilds to shake things up!

After months of playtesting and refinement, UNO is ready to face the world. Merle recruits his wholesome family to help handmake the first decks on their pingpong table.
