This total potential of 45 is the highest attainable for a species. As a result, hundos have a leg up over their lesser IV comrades:

• Raids – They deal the most damage per second (DPS) when attacking raid bosses. More IVs = more damage.

• Gyms – They withstand attacks better and last longer when defending gyms.

• PvP – In player versus player battles, hundos reach a higher overall stat product when maxing out CP for each league.

• No guessing – you see the exact values

Naming trick

• Nickname Pokémon "4*"
• When searching 4*, all hundos appear

Trade screen

• A hundo‘s appraisal sparkles when trading
• Lets you quickly spot perfect IV specimens

Raid/egg/research IV floors

• These have a minimum IV of 10/10/10
• If appraisal shows all bars full – it‘s a hundo!

When do IVs actually matter?
