In particular, I love enhancing standard arrows with ancient shafts and parts. Normally, precious ancient arrows must be used sparingly given their durability limits. However, by fusing them with regular phrenic, golden and silver arrows, you retain most of the ancient shaft‘s properties for far more shots.

Suddenly, your enhanced bomb and shock arrows reliably vaporize weak points even on Lynels and Guardians without draining your entire ancient arrow quiver near instantly! This fusion alone helps overcome one of the biggest balancing limitations of ancient arrows in Breath of the Wild 1.

For bows themselves, a Savage Lynel Bow paired with Zonai jet boosters creates a terrifying rapid-fire sniper‘s vision. Anything caught in its sights vanishes faster than they can react!

Fused Bows

• Zonai Jet Bow – Bow + Zonai Booster
• Golden Eagle Bow w/ Quick Shot – Bow + Swift Carrot

Enhanced Arrows

• Electric Ancient Arrows – Shock Arrow + Ancient Parts

Bows and arrows together define much of Breath of the Wild‘s combat. So when their limits grow through fusion, your battle prowess expands exponentially as a result.

Zonai Fusion: Breaking the Rules

Veteran Zelda fans know the ancient Zonai technology gifts you powers rivaling the gods themselves. By fusing these arcane artifacts with your gear, madness ensues!

Wielding the Zonai jetpack for example lets you bull rush enemies like a flying storm of death. Fuse it with a feather for extra hangtime and suddenly Lynels can‘t even target you accurately!

Meanwhile, a Zonai defensive shield generates a magic bubble that blocks attacks automatically without needing to parry. Paired with the Hylian Shield via fusion and your defenses may as well be made of Nayru‘s Love itself.

The key advantage of Zonai fusions is they let you break conventional rules. Bringing hyper offense and defense simultaneously to the fray leaves monsters bewildered and smashed.

Just remember overuse drains the Zonai battery rapidly. Use boost mode sparingly and recharge when able to maximize impact.

In general though, Breath of the Wild veterans agree the more you rely on fusion gear, the easier combat difficulty becomes overall. When used liberally, fused equipment reliably overpowers monsters rather than barely surviving by the skin of your teeth.

Personally, I think this better rewards fusion mastery without fully breaking challenge like Wolf Link‘s invincibility does. Power enough to turn battles in your favor, but finite enough that strategy still matters. Finding this delicate balance lets fusing enhance combat engagement rather than invalidate it.

While dominating monsters occupies much fusion discussion, we can‘t overlook its applications solving shrine puzzles either!
