The Complete Guide to Helix Mattresses: Models, Prices, Policies & Real Owner Reviews
About Helix Sleep
Helix Sleep was founded in 2015 by a group of entrepreneurs seeking better mattress options that could be customized to each person‘s needs. They recognized that a "one mattress fits all" approach doesn‘t work well since everyone has unique bodies, sleep styles, and preferences. So the Helix team set out to create mattresses tailored to the individual.
Today Helix offers a range of mattress models designed for different sleeper types and needs. Their mattresses also come in a wide variety of standard mattress and bed sizes. Read on for a detailed look at the Helix mattress collection along with policies, real owner reviews, and ultimate conclusions on value.
Overview of the Helix Mattress Collection
Helix has 6 main mattress models segmented into different categories based on purpose and features:
The Helix Midnight Mattress: Helix‘s most popular and well-rounded option designed to appeal to the widest range of sleepers with a medium firmness level.
The Helix Midnight Luxe Mattress: A luxury version of the classic Helix Midnight with added cushioning and zoning for enhanced pressure relief.
The Helix Twilight Mattress: Specifically designed for side sleepers with layers to relieve pressure on shoulders and hips.
The Helix Dawn Mattress: The firmest Helix mattress made for back and stomach sleepers needing extra support.
The Helix Dusk Mattress: A medium soft mattress perfect for lightweight side sleepers.
The Helix Plus Mattress: An extra durable design made for heavier individuals up to 1000 lbs.
In addition to the main mattress lines, Helix also offers two models specifically for children called the Helix Kids Mattress and Helix Sleeping Duck Mattress.
Now let‘s explore Helix‘s policies around shipping, returns, warranties and more.

What Real Helix Mattress Owners Say
Beyond policies and construction specs, perhaps the best judge of any mattress is what actual verified owners have to say after sleeping on it night after night.
Here is a brief overview of feedback shared by real Helix mattress reviewers across leading consumer sites:
Overall Ratings

Common Praises

Most reviewers also applaud Helix‘s effective custom recommendations thanks to their online Sleep Quiz. The quiz makes choosing the right model effortless.
Common Complaints
No mattress receives unanimous praise and Helix has a few common critiques. Some customers report issues with off-gassing, firmness being too soft/firm for their preferences, and sinking/sagging over time.
However, these types of issues are seen at similar rates among competitors. And Helix‘s customer service team receives outstanding marks for addressing any problems promptly.
Who Should Buy a Helix Mattress?
Helix‘s diverse mattress models cater to nearly all types of sleepers and budgets. Their mattresses offer something for everyone across these segments:
– Customized Comfort Seekers: If you want a mattress tailored to your needs, Helix‘s sleep quiz makes it easy to get matched with your perfect fit. Their mattress recommendations are spot-on based on customer feedback.
– Couples with Differing Needs: Helix‘s dual firmness models like the Midnight Luxe allow pairing softer and firmer sides to keep couples happy.
– Hot Sleepers on a Budget: Models like the cooling Helix Twilight won‘t break the bank compared to other premium cooling mattresses.
– Eco-Conscious Shoppers: Helix uses several eco-friendly materials like Tencel to produce their mattresses sustainably.
The only folks we‘d steer clear of Helix are strict stomach or back sleepers wanting an ultra firm mattress. Helix‘s firmest option – the Helix Dawn – still skews more medium-firm.

Overwhelmingly, yes – Helix mattresses deliver everything you could ask for at reasonable prices compared to competing brands offering similar constructions and benefits.
