Maximizing Your Vivarium as a Pro Gamer and Business Owner

As an avid Hogwarts Legacy gamer who also runs a small creature care business, I‘ve learned a wealth of tips for fully upgrading your Vivarium to house the many wondrous beasts. With the right quest know-how and habitat customizations, your Vivarium can hold up to 48 creatures!

Vivarium Upgrades Unlock More Beast Species

The initial Vivarium offers limited capacity – 12 creatures across 4 species. Upgrading expands this:

  • Coastal – Complete "Plight of the House Elf" after rescuing 10 beasts
  • Swamp – Complete "Foal of the Dead" involving breeding Thestrals
  • Grasslands – Complete "Phoenix Rising" side quest

Each new biome adds 4 more species slots, allowing you to diversify the beasts in your care.

As a gamer, I‘ve completed these quests multiple times. Here are pro tips for efficient completion:

Plight of House Elf

  • Ensure you‘ve rescued 10 beasts first
  • Focus Main Quest progression to access this side quest
  • Use Accio spell to quickly amass creatures to unlock

Foal of the Dead

  • Finish "Plight" first to unlock this quest
  • Use Owl Pellets outside North Ford Bog cabin to locate Thestrals
  • Purchase Breeding Pen spellcraft at Tomes & Scrolls in Hogsmeade (1000 Galleons)

Phoenix Rising

  • Unlocks after completing Main Quest "In the Shadow of the Mountain"
  • Use Eye of Apollo potion to investigate clues and reveal the Phoenix‘s location

Completing all three allows you to house 48 creatures total!

Optimizing Beast Habitats

With every Vivarium expansion, I conjure elements to create ideal habitats per species based on their needs and natural environments.

Coastal Biome

Best for aquatic beasts like Grindylows, Kelpie and Merpeople who require water access. Also ideal for Pixies who inhabit woodlands and Occamy who nest in trees near coastal areas.

  • Conjure palm trees, sandy beaches, rocky pools
  • Add goblin totem pole structures and statues
  • Include kelp beds and magical water plants

Swamp Biome

Perfect for soggy-loving creatures like Salamanders, Murtlaps, Grindylows and Kappas who thrive in wet marsh areas.

  • Conjure gnarled trees, muddy banks, reed clusters
  • Add abandoned boat and cabin fixtures
  • Include floating lanterns and overgrown ruins

Grassland Biome

Best for beasts requiring wide open space like Augureys, Hippogriffs, Runespoors and Phoenixes. Fairy populations also flourish here.

  • Conjure thickets, meadows, towering forests
  • Add lush flowering plants and vines
  • Include babbling brooks and rocky cairns

Customizing each biome to mimic native environments keeps all species healthy and happy!

Caring For Expanding Populations

With upgraded capacity, responsible care is a must as your beast populations grow. My small business background gives me an edge here!

As a creature enthusiast, I keep detailed notes tracking details like dietary needs, grooming schedules and habitat temperatures for every resident.

Some care considerations by species:

  • Fairy: Provide areas of direct sunlight, fruits/insects to eat
  • Griffin: Give whole fish twice a week and places to nest
  • Kelpie: Require algae and room to swim in pools
  • Merperson: Ensure ample aquatic hiding spots to feel secure
  • Niffler: Provide areas for digging and hiding treasure
  • Phoenix: Resists care but thrives near open flames

Staying on top of every creature‘s needs ensures your Vivarium provides a safe, healthy home!

Closing Thoughts

Completing Vivarium upgrades allows you to house every wondrous beast in Hogwarts Legacy. As a professional gamer and budding Magizoologist business owner, I‘m happy to offer expertise in efficiently amassing creatures through strategic quest completion and optimizing every habitat for health and enrichment.

Let me know if you have any other beast care questions – I could talk magical creatures all day!
