Advanced Awegite Mining Tactics
Through extensive mining sessions across the Shrine Ruins, I‘ve identified Zone 5 as the most plentiful awegite hotspot.
Specifically, concentrate on the elevated clearing by the Torii gate. Not only are white outcrops clustered here, it‘s also crawling with high-chance mining nodes. Equip Geologist 3 to maximize node uses too.
However, don‘t neglect Zone 1 either. Search around the jagras near maple trees for bonus gather points.
Helpful Mining Items
- Dango Glutton – Stamina use reduced by 30%
- Maple Syrup – Quick stamina restoration
- Motley Mix – Grants infinite stamina for a short time
Pop these before mining sessions. Your Palico‘s Go, Fight, Win! skill also recharges stamina with its horn.
Finally, use max-level botanical research to cultivate motley mixes. You‘ll never worry about stamina again!
Forging Your Awegite Weaponry
Once you‘ve gathered enough awegite, it‘s time to reap your rewards! The Kamura Cleaver greatsword and Ingot Mail X chest piece are personal favorites of mine.

With 300 raw and 35% affinity, the Kamura Cleaver hits like a runaway Diablos! Here are the crafting materials needed:

Ingot Mail X
This chest armor grants Attack Boost 4 and Critical Eye 3 to start, plus a level 3 decoration slot. Skills like these let you annihilate monsters!
