Optimal Gear for Fast Leveling

As an experienced Remnant 2 player with several hundred hours invested, I‘ve carefully tested combinations to amplify XP rates. Equip these core items to kickstart your farms with 50%+ increased yields:

10% XP Boost: Sagestone Ring

  • Source: Random drop from enemies, chests in Yaesha
  • Tip: Keep re-rolling campaigns until it drops if you‘re struggling to find it. This ring is essential!

25% XP Boost: Mudtooth‘s Elixir

  • Source: Mudtooth in Ward 13 for 500 scraps
  • Tip: Free with the Ultimate Edition or finishing campaign once.

Up to 20% XP Boost: Scholar Trait

  • Unlock: Complete campaign once
  • Tip: Invest trait points to upgrade to Lv. 20 for full 20% XP boost

With all 3 equipped, you‘ll gain ~50% more XP from every kill -completely life-changing for farming speed. Let‘s utilize this power in some optimal locations…

The Chimney: Simple & Endless Enemies

Activating the Farm

To access The Chimney farm, you first need to progress the main Yaesha campaign until you acquire the key to unlock the dungeon. Once inside, clear all enemies until reaching the lever to trigger endless spawns.

Strategy & Execution

The Chimney throws waves of adds at you on a tight timer. But with a specific positioning, you can intentionally fail the event and keep enemies flooding in forever.

Here‘s the step-by-step guide:

  1. Fight down to the bottom floor but do not shoot the glowing central orb yet (it completes the dungeon)
  2. Funnel all enemies through a narrow chokepoint like the entry staircase
  3. Use AoE attacks and mods to wipe out entire packs at once
  4. Farm endlessly until satisfied!

I‘d estimate you can clear about 90+ enemies per minute with solid AoE DPS. Each kill is worth hundreds of XP baseline, quickly multiplying to tens of thousands per hour thanks to XP boosts.

It‘s extremely simple to execute once you have the gear and levels to survive. Gather a full coop squad to multiply spawns and share gear buffs for total carnage!

Estimated XP Per Hour: 15,000+

The Great Hall Feast: Maximizing Bizarre XP Tricks

The Great Hall features one of the most absurd XP farming tricks in all of gaming – literally eating your friends! Unlock the secret feast, knock down your teammates, and consume them for 5,000+ XP per minute.

Unlocking the Feast

The feast event is triggered by earning the Ravenous Medallion, the final key item found at the end of exploring the Great Hall. Once you have it, fight through the palace until you reach the dining room tables. Interact with the tables to begin “feasting”…things are about to get weird!

Step-By-Step Guide

Here is the coordinated routine my squad uses to repeatedly devour each other for rapid gains:

  1. Player 1: Starts feasting at the table
  2. Player 2: Stands outside room defeating adds
  3. Player 3: Fills Ravenous meter then downs Player 1. Consume for ~2k XP repeat x2
  4. Player 2: Crawls into room and gets devoured for ~2k XP
  5. All die or drink Liquid Escape brew to reset
  6. Repeat cycle…forever!

To maximize speed, we run Exploiter armor for weak point damage on downs and swap roles each rotation. This pushes each "feast" to 4-5k XP in about 60 seconds.

Group Synergies

As a 3-player routine, bring classes with:

  • Clears adds
  • AoE debuffs on elites
  • Max revive speed
  • Ammo return on revive

Proper synergy keeps the cycle flowing smoothly while you hyper-powerlevel.

Estimated XP Per Hour: ~30,000+

Absolutely gamebreaking rates here, but unfortunately limited to coop groups. I truly wish everyone could exploit this bizarre feast because the devs clearly never intended these XP numbers!

The Widow‘s Court: Target Farming Elites

Similar to Chimney farming, this method relies on repeatedly eliminating high XP enemies quickly with checkpoint resets. However, groups aren‘t necessary – with the right prep any solo class can steamroll for 20k+ per hour.

Accessing the Location

The Widow‘s Court is a later area in Yaesha, only accessible after aligning with certain campaign factions. Progress until aligning with Iskal or Pan‘s secrets. Reroll worlds repeatedly until Widow‘s Court appears in adventure mode.

Fight upwards until you reach the stairs – this is your farming spot!

Ability Setup

We‘ll be burst killing elite Brutes repeatedly. Equip:

  • High single target DPS
  • Close/mid-range abilities
  • Executes/finisher damage

I run a Crit-focused Storm Whipbuild to melt their health bars. But Railgun headshots, Toxic builds, etc all decimate Brutes.

Step-By-Step Execution

  1. Spawn at Widow‘s Court checkpoint
  2. Run upstairs and engage 3 Brute elites
  3. Burst them down rapidly w/ single target combos
  4. Chug Liquid Escape to reset checkpoint
  5. Zerg Brutes again!

With sub 1 minute kills and resets, you fly through 2-3k XP packs every 60 seconds. In an optimized build, I estimate you can break:25,000+ XP per hour fairly comfortably.

The key is balancing damage vs survival – a delicate art perfected over hundreds of hours of farming. But that mastery journey is where much of the fun lies!

Beginner Farming Advice

For new players struggling to access or complete these farms, don‘t worry! Follow this general advice to steadily improve:

Lower World Tier First: Slide the WT back if enemies are overwhelming. It‘s better to quickly progress at lower WT before climbing the challenge curve.

Keep Respec‘ing: Don‘t be afraid to restructure your entire build if a farming strategy isn‘t working. Experiment until you crush it!

Watch Guides/Videos: Seeing farming routes in action makes execution much simpler. Checkout channels like [REDACTED] for examples.

Group Up: Coop makes everything easier thanks to shared buffs and revives. Find a squad to learn mechanics without all the pressure.

Most Importantly – Have Patience! Remnant 2 has a steep learning curve. Stick with it and you‘ll be dominating endgame farms before you know it.

Min/Maxing Your XP Rates

Once you‘ve mastered the essentials above, it‘s time to start seriously optimizing for maximum yields. Here are some of the advanced tactics my groups use to push 40k+ per hour:

  • Rotate kill roles to alternate Primary/Secondary class XP
  • Manual class swapping via the menu during runs
  • Entire group builds catered toward amplification effects
  • Further consumable stacking (Experience Shards, etc)
  • Programming mouse/keyboard input sequences to reduce downtime between cycles

Plus many more secret strats I can‘t reveal publicly or Gunfire will surely nerf them!

The sky‘s truly the limit when it comes to min/maxing XP gains. Get creative and leverage everything the game gives you to accelerate your unstoppable rise to godhood!

I hope this deep dive guides you to achieving your own record-shattering rates. Let me know if you discover any new strategies so I can improve my routes. Now get out there, grind hard and enjoy the rapid power spike on your way to the top tiers!
