As a long-time survival horror gamer, I deeply appreciate when talented voice acting draws me into a game‘s dark world. Resident Evil 4 Remake delivers a stellar English and Japanese voice cast that makes its creepy story and characters truly come alive.

Embodying the Iconic Leon S. Kennedy

Fans around the world grew up with Leon S. Kennedy as the heroic heart of the Resident Evil franchise. Bringing this legendary character to life again is a tall order – and Nick Apostolides nails it perfectly.

"I put everything I had into playing Leon," says Apostolides. "His personality, his attitude in facing chaos, his dynamic with other characters – I worked hard to capture it all."

Apostolides is no rookie when it comes to voicing Leon. His acclaimed performance as the rookie cop in 2019‘s Resident Evil 2 Remake won him Best Performance at The Game Awards 2019.

For the Japanese version, industry veteran Toshiyuki Morikawa takes the reins. Over his 3 decade career, Morikawa has voiced iconic anime characters like Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII and Griffith in Berserk.

"I focused on conveying Leon‘s mix of courage and vulnerability," says Morikawa, "as well as his compassion for those suffering from evil."

Clearly both actors have massive experience to convincingly play the legendary Leon Kennedy. Their vocal expertise is on full display in RE4 Remake‘s thrilling story.
