Unlocking the Secrets of the Chamber of Connection

The ancient Chamber of Connection is one of the Jedi temples hidden around Koboh that tests your skills in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Solving the puzzles inside and revealing its secrets rewards you with valuable collectibles – and a deeper understanding of the Force.

Prerequisites

Before attempting the Chamber of Connection, ensure you have the following abilities and upgrades equipped:

• Cal‘s Dash: Unlocked on Jedha, this allows sprinting jumps across wider gaps.
• BD-1‘s Koboh Grinder: Unlocked when fixing devastated settlements, used to melt black Koboh growths.
• Double Jump: Upgraded maneuverability to reach higher platforms.

These move sets are necessary to traverse the temple and solve all puzzles. I also recommend bringing stim canisters for healing after enemy encounters.

Navigating Viscid Bog

The Chamber of Connection is situated in Viscid Bog, northeast of The Hinterlands on Koboh.

Warning: The bog is teeming with hostile creatures – use stealth and avoidance tactics rather than fighting directly.

Traverse the islands of vegetation carefully using double jumps. Follow the map waypoint to a meditation point, then look for two perpendicular ziplines nearby.

Ride the first zipline jumping midway to grab the second line. After dismounting, use the climbable cracks to reach a ledge you can grapple up to.

Pro Tip: Time your jump perfectly to smoothly transition ziplines. Mistiming the jump causes falling damage.

Follow the linear path leading to an elevator – this provides entry to the Chamber of Connection!

Activating the Chamber

Upon entering the temple, step on the descending floor tile to lower a lift. Grab the glowing orb inside using Force Pull then insert it into the round pedestal across the room. This activates a laser used to solve puzzles.

Note: Retrieving this orb is integral to progressing inside the chamber. Without it, puzzles cannot be solved.

Solving the Laser Puzzles

The purple laser beam hits a black Koboh mass on the far wall. Use BD-1‘s Koboh Grinder to create a path from the laser origin to the target. Burning away masses opens up new areas.

You must systematically guide lasers to melt barriers and unlock sections within the temple. Pay attention to puzzle components like floating tiles, grapple points, climbable cracks, and zipline anchors to traverse the elaborate chamber.

Reminder: Floating tiles often change the puzzle layout or laser path when stepped on. Step off them to revert changes.

Enemies like bug-ridden corpses and violent tentacles attack in scripted ambush events between puzzle stages. Utilize lightsaber parries and Force powers like Freeze to defend yourself. With the puzzles spanning two heights, pace your limited stim canister usage.

Ascending to the Upper Level

A cracked wall eventually provides access to ascend to the second floor. This area contains more complex puzzles and enemies – including a powerful bog guardian mini-boss!

Traverse precarious climbing sections to reach new lasers and targets. You must swing across gaps, scramble up textured walls, and utilize ziplines to navigate the hazardous heights.

Time power attacks between the bog guardian‘s biting combos while strafing around it. Once defeated, wall run up to the unlocked exit and interact to squeeze through the narrow gap.

Claiming the Final Reward

A locked chamber barred by crumbling stones blocks the path to your reward. Use BD-1’s Overcharge ability to destroy the barrier entirely, then push through the cracked opening.

BD-1 Overcharge: Converts lightsaber energy into an explosive ray – but temporarily disables your weapon after firing!

Inside the small room lies an ancient Jedi holocron, containing teachings from masters at the old training temple. Take a moment to commune with the holocron and sense the Force wisdom still echoing within its crystalline structure across the years.
